Scrapbooking: A new Dimension

I wanted to showcase the great new page protectors from Stampin Up. These are going to make scrapbooking more fun and easier too! These are the layouts that I created for my scrapbook basics class on Saturday. This first layout is the standard that everyone thinks of when they hear the words scrapbooking, but that is all about to change.
Here is a close up view.

This is one of the new protectors from Stampin Up. They allow you to think outside of the box and save you time. There were pictures I didnt have time to scrapbook so I slide them in the pockets and even created a few mini layouts along the way. The possibilities are endless!

Classroom Rules

I created this for our homeschool room, using newsprint paper, Daffodil delight, whisper white, and pear pizzazz, my doilies are made using rich razzleberry.

I purchased a canvas from the craft store and layered my pieces using Mod Podge so it would be sealed and perfect for a classroom with kids!

I made the discovery after the fact that I added always do your best twice! But what a great mistake to make we always want our kids to do their best so now they have a double reminder!

Perfectly Preserved Cased Card

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my shoebox swap with my upline that I shared about yesterday. This is a card idea that I cased from Erica Cerwin @ www.pinkbuckaroodesigns.blogspot.com

I fell in love with this card when I saw it, such a cute layout and design. I wanted to show you that you can case other cards and make them your own, there where things that she had that I didnt. But this was a very similar case. I created a second card that was more my style, just to show you that you can use an idea and make it your own.
This is a brand new set that is in the Holiday Mini called Perfectly Preserved. Just a little sneak peak!
More to come in the next few days a little peak into the mini...

While I cannot be at convention this week I am trying to keep up with the goings on through facebook, I will be sharing what I find on my facebook page.

Happy Stamping.

Workshop out of the box

I love doing card classes and stamp a stacks but I have always loved projects and scrapbooking as well. I like to do projects with my clubs more than cards unless they request it....the ladies have had their club for two years and we have certainly done a wide variety of projects together. As a demonstrator or even if you are an avid crafter don't be afraid to step outside of the box.
Last night out project consisted of Scissors, Mod podge, Delicate Doilies stamp set, Summer Starfruit ink, and these wooden trays I found in the dollar section at target. When you plan a workshop that is out of the box your inspiration can come from anywhere, it can be an item from the dollar section or the dollar store. It is a great way to show your customers that they can use Stampin Up to make anything creative and anything unique.
This was the final tray that we created. This project was so simple for my class to make, it took them less than an hour to get it all together.
Stamp Divas hard at work putting their trays together. This is a project that is great of the advanced or beginner. It will inspire them to not be afraid to try something new!!
They covered the inside of the tray with mod podge to seal it and make it even more beautiful!

When you are planning your workshop seek out something unique and different, don't be afraid to try new things, show your customers that Stampin Up is more than just cards, the possibilities are as far as your imagination can take you!
