Colorful Birthday Treats

Something I love about creating beautiful projects is color! I love color and this photo shows a sea of colors! I had an order to create 100 of these cute bags using a retired big shot die. These bags where filled with candy and color! (Paper used: Polka Dot Parade)

Stampin' Up brings colors to life and each of these colors are so vibrant, I could not wait to create something with them.

 The finished product.
A beautiful bag to celebrate Birthdays! Such a cute party favor!

2, 4, 6, 8 Box

-Double sided patterned paper or cardstock
-heavy duty adhesive
-something to make score lines
-ribbon or twine
-matching embellishments
1. Cut your paper 8.5 x 11 inches. Then cut this paper in half at 5.5 inches. You now have enough paper to make 2 treat boxes.
2. Score your paper on the longest edge at 2 inches, 4 inches, 6 inches, and 8 inches.
3. Flip your paper and score it along the short edge at 2 inches.
4. Using scissors, cut the paper at the 2 inch, 4 inch, 6 inch, and 8 inch intervals until it hits the long 2 inch score line.
5. Remove the little extra flap that is right past the 8 inch score line.
6. Apply adhesive to that little flap right past 8 inches. Roll your paper up and secure adhesive covered flap inside so it's not visible.
7. Now you need to secure the bottom of the box. Start by folding over 2 of the 2 inch flaps.
8. Secure the last flap with strong adhesive. If any corner are sagging, just add more adhesive or a little bit of wet glue to hold it all together.
9. Now that you have this shape, you can make two different treat holders. For the first style, pinch the top of the box together by pressing in two opposite side and pinching the top.
10. When the top is pinched together, punch a hole. Tie ribbon to close the box.

Perfect Pouch

I created this pouch based on an idea from the Holiday Mini Catalog, perfect for candy and perfectly fits 1 pouch of Hot Chocolate.

This pouch is very simple and makes the perfect treat holder for Christmas.
DSP 11 x 4 3/4 then score on both sides at 1/8 and then score 4 1/2. Trim your 1/8 flaps on your longest end before you reach the 4 1/2 score line. This will allow you to attach your pouch together. You could also sew up the sides of the pouch using the sewing machine.

I hope you enjoy this pouches and give them as a treat this holiday season.

Gift Enclosure Box

Do you ever wonder what to do with the think white board that comes with your packs of designer paper? Use them to make gift boxes for cards or to place a gift inside. They are so easy to make! This is the box I made to hold 3 x 3 enclosure cards.

Here are the cards that I made!

Now here is how you make them!

Gift Enclosure Box

Created by: Simply-Crafted

What you will need:

2- 6x6 White Chip Board from your Designer Paper packs

1-   3 ¼ x3 ¼ Champagne Glitter Paper

2-   3x3 Whisper White

5- 3 x 6 Early Espresso

10- 2 ¾ x 2 ¾ Whisper White

5- 5x5 Whisper White

Tools:

Sticky Strip

Big Shot

Christmas Shapes Framelits

Stampin Up Jewels or Pearls

Stampin Trimmer

Box:

Using your 2- 6x6 pieces of Chip Board

Score one piece at 1 ¼ on all sides

The second piece score at 1 3/16 on all sides

Snip in your score lines on 2 sides (See picture)

This will give you tabs to secure your box.

Use sticky strip to secure your box.

Create your outside cover.

Use your framelits and bigshot to cut the tree shape from the center of your cardstock.

Enclosure Cards:

Fold your enclosure cards, place your whisper white inside and outside your card, Using the illuminate stamp pad stamp snowflakes on your whisper white. Stamp your sentiment on the bottom of your card. Using the Framelits cut out the tree shape for your cards, and embellish.

Envelopes:

5 x 5 Whisper White Score using the scoring tool diagonal plate at 2 ¼ on all sides. Snip the tiny triangles where your score lines overlap and fold your envelope.

Treat Box

I made these cute little boxes for those who attendend our first Christmas Club of the year! They have a cute stamp inside that they can stamp on the back of their cards. I ofcourse included a few pieces of candy. This is the favor box and the framelits label die that I used for these boxes.
I inked the edges of the box to give it a nice finished look, and placed a clear plastic sheet as a window to my box. The flower on the outside is so simple to make, it is simple 5 scallop circles that I punched out and places a brad in the middle to hold them together and then a brought up the paper and scrunched it around the brand. These would be a so cute for an holiday party that you are planning!
