Its in the bag...

So this is the first product from my stampin room! It is a store bought tote bag from the craft store and I used new fabric (available next month) from Stampin up to give it something special!

Its not perfect but I think that it turned out cute, I know that my four year old loves it and wants to keep it for herself.

This is simple to make if you have a sewing machine, ruffling the fabric is easy by hand or with a ruffler foot on the sewing machine.

I cut the flowers out using a big shot die and added a button for embellishment.

Don't you love this fabric?? It can be yours next month, check back for more projects with this line this week!

Thought you would enjoy seeing my four year old put her modeling to the test and showing off this cute bag!

Only a few days left to take advantage of sale-a-bration, get your orders in online before the 31st, or email me with your orders! Also join my team during sale-a-bration and pick an extra free stamp set from me! Stampin Room Redo Part 1

I am giving part one the title of "the mess"

For those of you who know me well I have a hard time with messes they mess with my head and I cannot focus so I have moved my laptop into the bedroom to get some work done away from the mess!

I wanted to share the update on the office redo as no stamping is going on in there....
Here is what we started with when we moved in two years ago...
This room was a huge selling point for us! An amazing bonus room above the garage that I could use for stamping and eventually it would be the homeschool room as well. Well with addie starting kindergarten in the fall here we are!
Here is a picture of how it looked right after we moved in:
It was the perfect crafting space and I love this room, it is my favorite in  the house (when it is clean)
Over the last two years we have added and subtracted and done a few changes but the biggest change is coming in the next few days...so I am baring it all and showing you my mess!
This wall is the future home of my stamping space:
This will be our homeschool area:
Here is my desk now, obviously no stamping going on: This wall will eventually have a white board for school or possibly a couch in the future:
A full view of what 2 years and 2 kids can do:
Another bonus about this room is the walk in closet:
All of this will look so different in the coming days and I cannot wait to share it all with you!
Here is the mess from the morning as we make room for new furniture:
I am almost ashamed to show you my mess!! But I know the finished product will be amazing thanks to my hubby!!

Going Green Part 3

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I am in love with this little guy!! Isn't he adorable!!

I used the gnome set and turned him into a little Irish man!

You can do so much with the stampin up markers, coloring with these markers can make your cards come alive and this little guy is no exception!

I used the scallop circle die for the Big shot to create the card!

Here is the close up for you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Going Green part 2

This was a treat that they made in club Thursday night. I used the idea from a make and take at leadership to create this cute treat idea! (Video tutorial coming next week)

I used Mint m&ms because of course they are green and punches to embellish the front of the pouch. The little gem just gives it a cute little sparkle but you could use a button or pearl in the center.

The nice thing about this pouch?

You can make it with no adhesive! Who does't love that...ofcourse you will need some for your embellishments but the pouch itself is adhesive free!

On the other side of the pouch is an identical pocket that I used to place a love note and a handmade envelope. A tutorial that you can see in a post from earlier this week using the diagonal scoring tool.

This cute little love not is a perfect thing to put in the pocket and write a little message to the person that is special enough to get this cute treat from you!

Nothing says your special like a homemade gift! And no occasion is to small to give them a homemade gift either.

Other ideas for this pouch is tea bags in the pocket or cookies in between the pockets on the inside of the pouch!

Here is the love note that is in the other pocket.

I used the large scallop circle punch and the same concept of the hearts to create your shamrock. I also used the twine to give the card something alittle more decorative!

My St. Patrick's day stamp is from the Teeny Weeny Wishes set in the Large catalog, certainly a set that is one of my favorites!

Happy Stamping!

Going Green

Who doesn't love St. Patrick's Day?!

This has always been a big one in our house, my dad used to wear orange on St. Patrick's Day just to make my mom mad...Oh the childhood memories.

I usually stick to easter this time of year for classes and clubs but I wanted to change it up so last night at club we went green and explored the luck of the Irish.  So over the next few days I will be sharing with you all the different things that we created!

I am starting off with the treat that I made everyone in club. These super cute treats hold 3 Hershey nuggets and the inside and are so easy to make!  Here is a close
up of the front of the treat I used the small heart punch and the label punch to create the embellishments. The treat itself was made using the new framelits labels dies the largest size and then the next size down.

These would be so cute for any occasion, or just a little treat to let someone know that you are thinking about them.

I hope you will give them a try!

Savvy Stampers Meeting

I am very blessed to be apart of an amazing group of women who love Stampin Up. My Grandupline hosted a meeting for her team Savvy Southern Stampers.

They shared great ideas from Leadership and as always I left with amazing ideas and great laughs. If you are in my downline you will hear more about those ideas in the next downline newsletter (another perk of being on my team.)

I wanted to share a few photos from last night, this is a great group of ladies, they certainly know how to laugh and have a great time.

This is a photo of me with my upline Shirley. She is the best upline and such an amazing friend. I am so blessed that Stampin Up brought us together. She knows how to encourage me and she always knows just what to say. Her blog is www.thedailystamper.blogspot.com
I will be sharing swaps and project ideas from the meeting over the next few days! I will also share a down line post with amazing demonstrator ideas from our meeting! Stay Tuned....
