Scrap a Way to a Cure 2012

So I had my first show this season a few weeks ago and I wanted to share some pictures with you. This is a fundraiser for The Linda F. Kelly Foundation for Ovarian Cancer, that I help my mom organize every year. I really enjoy doing this event and being apart of something so special.
Its certainly not every event that I get an view like this of my booth....
I love being able to teach a class at our event every year. It is so fun to share Stampin Up with these ladies.
I liked this next picture alot, I took alot of project ideas and samples to share and this was a great picture to show them off.
This last one is another shot of the class hard at work...

Gently Falling

This has to be one of my favorite fall sets from Stampin Up, one that I have used many times. This was a card that we made at Stamp Divas Club, these colors are great together and really make the card stand out from the rest (Riding Hood Red, Lucky Limade, Island Indigo, More mustard, and Raspberry Ripple.) Such a great combination and it goes perfectly with the fall paper from Stampin Up! This is a stamp set that is in the big catalog.

Purchase your stamps for your fall cards today!
Don't forget that this month you get free ribbon with every $40 you spend! Awesome deal!

Retired Christmas

Usually durning the Christmas Club classes we make a few cards that are using retired products, just to show my customers that they can use last years products they have laying around to make cute projects. Your scraps don't have to go to waste. This card is so cute and it makes me think of a southern Christmas with the plaid and the deer on the front. So don't be afraid to pull out the scraps from last year and put together a few cards!

This card is so simple a great for a beginner. This is a beautiful card to make and shows off the new Christmas paper in the big Catalog. This is one of the new stamp sets from the holiday mini called Scentsational season. So cute and would be a great set for your kids to use as they prepare for their holiday parties, etc.
Don't forget about the free ribbon offer this month!

Triple Layer Card

Christmas Club Night One
Card one

This is one of my favorites so far and so easy to make, I found the idea on a fellow demos blog and found that this technique is so easy to duplicate with many of the stamp sets from Stampin Up. I plan on trying some fall ones with the new leaf sets.

Here are the measurements you need.
Vanilla (this is the part that I stamp on: 2" x 3-1/4", 3" x 4-1/4", 4 x 5-1/4" plus I use 4" x 5-1/4" for inside
Midnight Muse  (I use for the main card and mat):= 2-1/4" x 3-1/2", 3-1/4" x 4-1/2", 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"(this is the card base)

Using alittle spec of adhesive or dotto stack your vanilla on top of each other and begin to stamp placing your stamps in different areas filling your space. You will then remove your layers and mat them with your Midnight Muse mats and add them to your card! It is so simple!

Awards Night

My Wonderful Grand Upline Karen had an awards night for her team the Savvy Southern Stampers and I always love going to Karens and spending time with these wonderful ladies. We missed Shirley so much and wish that she could have been with us. So I wanted to share my photos from that night.

I am not one to toot my own horn but I am going to have to for a second if you want to hear about the evening. This year has been one of my better years with Stampin Up and I have been working really hard to grow my business. God has blessed me so greatly and I can take no credit because He is the one that made a way and He is the one that brought the customers across my path. I am so grateful for what He has done in my business. So anyway here is a picture of me with my 3 awards from the night.
I earned Top Sales for the team, #2 in recruits and for my promotion to senior supervisor this year.
Such an honor to be recognized from Karen, 2 of my girls in my downline also won awards! Go Girls! So what did I get you ask?? Well loot from the memento mall ofcourse!

It was a great night...

Thanks Karen!

Treat Box

I made these cute little boxes for those who attendend our first Christmas Club of the year! They have a cute stamp inside that they can stamp on the back of their cards. I ofcourse included a few pieces of candy. This is the favor box and the framelits label die that I used for these boxes.
I inked the edges of the box to give it a nice finished look, and placed a clear plastic sheet as a window to my box. The flower on the outside is so simple to make, it is simple 5 scallop circles that I punched out and places a brad in the middle to hold them together and then a brought up the paper and scrunched it around the brand. These would be a so cute for an holiday party that you are planning!

Check out the September promotion, with every $40 you spend get a free spool of ribbon in the new designer in colors! Check out my website for details and to shop now www.michellerabon.stampinup.net
