Workshop out of the box

I love doing card classes and stamp a stacks but I have always loved projects and scrapbooking as well. I like to do projects with my clubs more than cards unless they request it....the ladies have had their club for two years and we have certainly done a wide variety of projects together. As a demonstrator or even if you are an avid crafter don't be afraid to step outside of the box.
Last night out project consisted of Scissors, Mod podge, Delicate Doilies stamp set, Summer Starfruit ink, and these wooden trays I found in the dollar section at target. When you plan a workshop that is out of the box your inspiration can come from anywhere, it can be an item from the dollar section or the dollar store. It is a great way to show your customers that they can use Stampin Up to make anything creative and anything unique.
This was the final tray that we created. This project was so simple for my class to make, it took them less than an hour to get it all together.
Stamp Divas hard at work putting their trays together. This is a project that is great of the advanced or beginner. It will inspire them to not be afraid to try something new!!
They covered the inside of the tray with mod podge to seal it and make it even more beautiful!

When you are planning your workshop seek out something unique and different, don't be afraid to try new things, show your customers that Stampin Up is more than just cards, the possibilities are as far as your imagination can take you!
