Fathers Day Card idea

National Scrapbooking Month Part 3

"Scrapbooking is passing memories through your family that will last a life time. Something they will cherish knowing the love and time you put into creating these memories."

Scrapbooking is where my love for crafting began, it was something that I enjoyed doing, it gave me a break from the every day and let me create something beautiful that my family would have for a lifetime. My children could look back at these memories and know that they were so loved. God has blessed me with the ability to work with my hands, to create beautiful things for my family and for others. I enjoy sharing that blessing with others.

Currently I am working on Ethan's baby book, so I can just fill it in with pictures and journaling when he gets here....These are some great Layouts I created with Stampin Up paper and embellishments from Nursery Suite DSP and Stickers.

Now all they need is pictures of little ethan!

Happy Father's Day

This has to be one of my favorite masculine cards, an idea I picked up orginally a few years ago a camp from my upline, this card is so easy to make that Stamp Divas took on the task and did a great job! This is a great card for fathers day or for a birthday!

How to make a card for a man...

I get asked the question A LOT, how do you make a manly card? Well last Stamp Divas Club that is just what we focused on, we focused on how to make a masculine card. Its important in your card making to not forget the men in your lives, they are special too!

Here is a card that we made:

Something that I have discovered is the simpler the better, men usually are not into ribbon and alot of times don't put to much thought into how the card itself looks. Choose Masculine colors, rich regals, or bold colors work the best, keep your stamping simple...Stampin up has some great sets that are geared towards men, and they make some really cute cards!

Baby Card

As most of you know if you follow my blog or on my facebook that in a few short weeks we will be welcoming a sweet baby boy into our family. I wanted to share this card with you that I recieved in the mail this week from one of my stampin up pals! I thought it was so precious I had to share! Thanks for the cute card Sue!

Happy Mothers Day

There is something about Mothers Day that I just love, maybe its the flowers, or the breakfast in bed but my amazing husband always knows how to pamper me on mothers day!

We will be spending the day at church and then off to visit my mom and grandmother who has been ill, it will be nice to spend time with family for mothers day.

Using new paper from the Mini Catalog and the new fabulous florets stamp set, it turned out great! I hope my mom likes it!

Mothers Day Part 1

I wanted to share with you addies handmade mothers day for my mom and my grandmother. She made them a big tissue paper flower and a precious card to match. She loves being crafty with me and I always say what better way to say I love you that to say it with something you made yourself. I know that they will love what she has made!

Last weekend was my last baby shower for Ethan, can you believe it? It wont be long till he arrives and our house is busy being prepped for new baby and hoping the blog will be all prepped for you as well!
