More than just cards...

I love to create and I believe with all my heart it is a talent that God has given me and no one else. I cannot do it on my own, it all comes from His help. God opened a door for a tremendous ministry opportunity to send card kits to missionaries in Panama. What a precious gift to be able to serve Christ in such a way. I wish I could have been  there to share these kits myself but God has placed them in the right hands. Our church was actually able to go and do cards with a group of teenagers while they where there and I wanted to share what God is doing.

Here are the card kits, the ladies of the church and I worked on 100 card kits to send to panama, along with the stamps and items they needed to complete their cards.

 

These are two of the photos that some of the Panama team took while on their trip, making cards wit the women in the villages. Yes I will admit I cried and my heart was over whelmed. My prayer is that God will use these for His honor and glory! How exciting!

Pomp and Circumstance

It is graduation season and our house is no exception this year....not only to I have a stack of cards to send but Addison graduated from Kindergarten.

 

I wanted to share the card that I am sending out this graduation season. I create the image on the front using MDS, then cut it out to fit the front of my card.

Hello Kitty Stampin Up inviations

I wanted to share with you another order that I had recently for these super cute hello kitty invitations. In order to create the hello kitty herself I had to find a template online and cut out each of the pieces. It was a pocket card that pulled out with all the event details.

Colorful Birthday Treats

Something I love about creating beautiful projects is color! I love color and this photo shows a sea of colors! I had an order to create 100 of these cute bags using a retired big shot die. These bags where filled with candy and color! (Paper used: Polka Dot Parade)

How can you use Stampin Up in your wedding?

A beautiful weekend for a wedding....

Between the accident and the amazing wedding of my best friend it has been a busy couple of weeks!

Here is a picture of us from her wedding over the weekend! She is such a beautiful bride!

 

 So believe it or not I actually hear this a lot....Oh I could never make my own invitations or I can't incorporate that stuff into my wedding....One of the things that pinterest has done for weddings is allow for brides to use their creativity to make their weddings unique and personal. No two couples are the same, their weddings shouldnt be either. Here is their beautiful invitations that the bride and I made for her wedding, they are simply elegant and were so easy to make. Her guests raved about her invitations ad how much they loved the handmade touch, wow your guests before they even get to your wedding!

My Digital Studio lended some beautiful programs, these where half sheet size, front and back. With MDS you can create a logo for your wedding, that you can use on invitations, favors, and programs. 

The wedding favors were probably my favorite! Using the same logo from the programs we created thank you tags for each of the M&M favors. Each place setting had one and it was a perfect way to say thank you to her guests for coming to their wedding!

Some things you just can't caption.

There are some photos that you just cannot caption, some that are not really worth a thousand words, and ones that will leave to speachless. This photo pretty much sums up my absence, I would have much rather been stamping with you. 

This picture is a ever present reminder of the fragilness of life and how quickly things can change. I was taking my daughter home from dance, I had both children with me when a woman ran a stop sign...I had no time to react to her and I hit her. Life certainly changed for us in that instant. My immeidate reaction was to my children who are both safe and fine....Thank you Lord. They took me to the hospital in an ambulance and scanned and xrayed everything they could. To walk away with severe bruises, a broken tail bone and some soreness I am very much counting my blessings.

 

So it has been a slow recovery and ofcourse things are being put on the back burner as I focus on healing and getting my family back on our feet. I will begin posting soon....keep us in your prayers!
